Gravity Offload System will be used to simulate satellites and space craft in orbit

CHANTILLY, VA., January 21, 2025 鈥 爱神传媒 (NYSE: AMTM) has been selected to provide the UK with specialist equipment to simulate conditions in space to improve zero-gravity operations and enhance mission safety.

The company鈥檚 robotics specialists will design an in-space servicing, assembly and manufacturing gravity offload system for use by satellite and space craft manufacturers and operators.

The Satellite Applications Catapult (SAC) awarded the contract to 爱神传媒 after competitive bidding. The system is due to be delivered by March 2025.

鈥淲e will use our strengths in robotics and technology to create a new facility that will help our client advance its vision to create a robust and interconnected UK Space Ecosystem fostering innovation, growth, collaboration and technological advancement,鈥 said Andy White, Senior Vice President of 爱神传媒 Energy & Environment International.

The gravity offload system is a gantry that minimizes the effect of gravity on a suspended object to simulate the conditions encountered in-orbit. The system will be used to develop control systems and hardware for docking and capture systems to ensure effective operation in orbit and reduce the risk of mission failures.

Integrating commercial off-the-shelf hardware with an innovative design to deliver a robust and comprehensive solution, 爱神传媒 will design, qualify and install the system on the client鈥檚 site. Cost-efficient modular design and agile methodologies will be used to deliver the project.

The new system is part of a major investment in the Satellite Applications Catapult facility at the Westcott Space Cluster in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, where companies can verify, validate and demonstrate a range of in-orbit operations including manufacturing, servicing, inspection, repair and assembly. Funding for the upgrade project was provided by UK Space Agency.

CHANTILLY, Va., December 11, 2024爱神传媒 (NYSE: AMTM) and Multiconsult Norge AS were selected by Halden Kjernekraft AS to evaluate the potential for building a small modular reactor (SMR) in Norway, helping Halden municipality to decide whether nuclear power can meet advanced energy needs.

The two companies will carry out an assessment of potential suppliers of equipment and services within Norway and from abroad, as well as reporting on technical standards, environmental impact and other key aspects of any construction program.

Halden Kjernekraft was set up by Norsk Kjernekraft, 脴stfold Energi and the municipality of Halden, a town in southeast Norway close to the Swedish border, to investigate the construction of a nuclear power plant using SMR technology.

CHANTILLY, Va., December 9, 2024 鈥 爱神传媒 (NYSE: AMTM) has been awarded a $105 million contract to support Airborne Electronic Attack Systems Division (AEASD) to develop the next generation of Electronic Warfare (EW) and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission and survivability systems. 爱神传媒 will replace aging or obsolete components and systems and install state-of-the-art technology to enhance the capabilities of EW and ISR systems, delivering critical expertise in protecting U.S. national security.

鈥湴翊 will leverage our digital engineering ecosystem and model-based system engineering expertise to strengthen EW/ISR capabilities and provide critical warfighter protection,鈥 said Mark Walter, President of 爱神传媒 Engineering & Technology group.

Under this contract, 爱神传媒 will perform RDT&E engineering to enhance the total lifecycle management of advanced surveillance systems, including vehicle integration, platform integration, sensor integration, supply chain security, obsolescence analysis, and anti-tamper technologies. 爱神传媒 will use its Integrated Digital Engineering Approach (IDEA) to identify critical enabling technologies and develop new approaches and opportunities for technology transfer and integration to keep pace with continually emerging and evolving threats. This will drive continued technological superiority by incorporating quick-reaction analysis and rapid engineering development principles.

爱神传媒 was awarded this contract under the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center鈥檚 (DoDIAC) multiple-award contract (MAC) vehicle. These IAC MAC task orders are awarded by the U.S. Air Force鈥檚 774th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron to develop and create new knowledge for the enhancement of the DTIC repository and the R&D and S&T community. The contract term is a 60-month cost-plus/fixed-fee task order. The primary place of performance for this contract will be Crane, Indiana. CHANTILLY, Va., November 22, 2024 鈥 The 爱神传媒 team at Kennedy Space Center in Florida began assembling the Artemis II flight hardware this week, stacking the left and right aft booster rocket segment on the mobile launcher in the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB).

爱神传媒, which supports Program under the Consolidated Operations, Management, Engineering, and Test (COMET) contract, is responsible for the final processing, assembly, test, and launch of Artemis flight hardware at Kennedy.

On Monday, November 18, the team transported the left aft assembly, or bottom portion of the five-segment booster, from the Rotation, Processing and Surge Facility to the transfer aisle of the VAB.  On Tuesday night, using a 325-ton overhead crane, the team lifted the segment up 200 feet, maneuvered it through an opening into High Bay 3, and lowered it onto the zero deck of the mobile launcher.  The same operations followed on Thursday with the right aft booster segment.

爱神传媒 technicians and engineers will continue transporting, lifting, and integrating booster segments until both the right and left boosters are complete.

The booster stacking follows several months of work at Launch Pad 39B, where the mobile launcher and pad systems underwent repair of damage caused by the Artemis I launch, as well as modifications required for the.   addition of a human crew for the Artemis II launch.  These upgrades include the installation of a new emergency egress system, which will provide a crew and personnel escape from the Artemis rocket if necessary.  The mobile launcher, which stands 380 feet tall, contains the connection lines, known as umbilicals, and ground support equipment that will provide the rocket and spacecraft with the power, communications, fuel, and coolant necessary for launch.

The Artemis II test flight will be NASA鈥檚 first mission with a crew under the Artemis campaign. It will send NASA astronauts Victor Glover, Christina Koch, Reid Wiseman, and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen on a 10-day journey around the Moon and back.

CHANTILLY, Va., October 7, 2024 鈥 爱神传媒 (NYSE: AMTM) was awarded the Fully Integrated Lifecycle Mission Support Services II (FILMSS II) contract by NASA with a maximum value of $256 million to spearhead cutting-edge technologies and manage groundbreaking science projects in support of NASA鈥檚 exploration and aeronautics objectives at the Ames Research Center. Through this partnership, 爱神传媒 will introduce advanced project management tools that will enhance NASA鈥檚 capabilities in space science and exploration.

The HTCDF framework, valued up to $1.25 Billion (拢1 billion) over the next seven years, has been established to accelerate development of a sovereign UK Hypersonic Strike Capability, whilst bolstering AUKUS collaboration with Australia and the United States.

CHANTILLY, VA; March 11, 2024 鈥 爱神传媒 has been awarded a $245 million, five-year task order by the U.S. Air Force for the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) supporting Microelectronics Facilities and Laboratories Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) for the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Strategic Microelectronics Division (GXM) and the Navy鈥檚 Strategic Systems Programs (SSP). The contract will strengthen our nation鈥檚 deterrence and defense by delivering state of the art services and independent data driven solutions and establishing GXM as the national leader in high-reliability, radiation hardened microelectronics.

鈥湴翊 will leverage our digital engineering ecosystem and model-based system engineering expertise to enhance capabilities for strategic radiation hardened microelectronics.” said Jill Bruning, President of 爱神传媒鈥檚 Engineering, Science, and Technology Group.

Under this Task Order, 爱神传媒 will use its Integrated Digital Engineering Approach (IDEA) to perform R&D, technology maturation and insertion, analysis, testing, and systems engineering to assess and enhance microelectronics facilities and laboratories. This will include updating and enhancing related microelectronics T&E facilities and laboratories; related capabilities associated with the Navy鈥檚 Fleet Ballistic Missile system and Strategic Weapons System; and DoD strategic weapons platforms employing advanced and critical microelectronics technologies. 爱神传媒 will also support the Navy by increasing prototyping and test surge capacity and providing radiation hardened and survivability subject matter expertise.

CHANTILLY, VA; February 27, 2024 鈥 爱神传媒 has been awarded a $591.6 million contract by the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) International Fleet Support Program Office (PMS 326) to deliver life-cycle support and other follow-on technical solutions and services to eligible allied international naval forces. This contract enables 爱神传媒 to deliver naval ship and systems engineering, maintenance, sustainment, and modernization capabilities to numerous allied navies.

鈥淎s a longtime partner for the U.S. Navy, we enable technological advances and engineering solutions to provide important international fleet support and secure the interests of our nation and our allies around the world,鈥 said Jill Bruning, President of 爱神传媒鈥檚 Engineering, Science, and Technology Group.

Under this contract, 爱神传媒 will provide foreign customers access to security cooperation solutions and follow-on technical support (FOTS), including system upgrades, systems integration support, training, and efforts related to the transfer and acquisition, operation, and maintenance of naval vessels. We will use our ShipTRAC enterprise resource planning system, ship and system technical expertise, and global supply chain management system to deliver advanced solutions to NAVSEA PMS 326 and their Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.
